How Viral Clipper works

From a fresh account to posted clips in six steps. Your PC does the heavy lifting; the cloud AI finds the moments worth posting.

1

Create your account

Sign up free — no card needed. Verify your email to unlock your free trial credits.

2

Download the desktop app

Install the free Windows app. Clipping runs on your own PC, so an 18GB stream never has to be uploaded anywhere.

3

Sign in inside the app

Open the app and log in with the same account. That links your PC to your credits and your dashboard.

4

Paste a YouTube VOD URL

Point it at a stream VOD. The app downloads and splits the video locally on your machine.

5

AI finds the viral moments

The app transcribes the stream locally on your GPU (or CPU), then the cloud AI scores the transcript for strong hooks, rage, screams and genuine laughs. This scoring step is what spends a credit.

6

Post your clips

Finished 1080×1920 vertical clips land on your PC — facecam over gameplay, hook title, optional captions — each with a ready-made caption text file. Copy, post natively, done.

Credits

How credits work

One credit per AI scoring call

A credit is spent each time the cloud AI scores part of your stream to pick the viral moments — charged up front, before the AI runs. Local transcription and rendering on your PC cost nothing.

Plan credits refill monthly

Your plan grants a fresh batch of credits each billing cycle. They reset rather than roll over, so use them within the month.

Top-ups never expire

Need more mid-month? Top-up packs go into a separate balance that never expires — as do your 10 free trial credits. The app always spends plan credits first, so permanent credits are only touched when the monthly batch runs out.

Automatic refunds, full ledger

If an AI call fails, the credit comes straight back — into the never-expiring balance. Every charge, refund and grant is listed in your ledger under Plan & credits, so the numbers always add up.

FAQ

Common questions

What hardware do I need?+

A Windows 10 or 11 PC. An NVIDIA GPU is fastest — transcription runs CUDA-accelerated. AMD, Intel or no dedicated GPU still works: the app automatically falls back to CPU transcription. Same results, it just takes longer.

Do you post to TikTok for me?+

No — and that's deliberate. The app prepares finished clips plus a caption file for each, and you post them natively yourself. Posting from your own device with your own captions keeps your content flagged as original, which protects your reach.

Do I need my own AI or Gemini API key?+

No. The cloud holds the AI key — your credits cover the AI scoring. You never sign up for, paste in, or pay for a separate API key.

What exactly does a credit pay for?+

Each AI scoring call — where the cloud AI reads a section of your transcript and picks the viral moments — costs one credit, charged before the AI runs. Transcription and rendering happen on your own PC and are not metered.

What happens if a scoring call fails?+

Your credit is refunded automatically, into your never-expiring balance. You only pay when the AI actually does its job. Every charge and refund is listed in your credit ledger under Plan & credits.

Do unused credits roll over?+

Plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle — use them within the month. Top-up pack credits and trial credits never expire, and the app always spends your plan credits first so nothing permanent is wasted.
